Mosaic Receives Esteemed National Women’s Business Enterprise Certification from WBENC

Published January 20, 2017

On January 20, 2017, Mosaic received the esteemed honor of National Women’s Business Enterprise Certification. The certification is provided by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), recognized as the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned, controlled and operated by women in the United States. Businesses seeking this accreditation undergo an extensive certification process in which the council authenticates the company’s practices and ownership.

This accomplishment sets Mosaic apart as an elite diverse supplier, and opens a door to unlimited opportunities with potential partners. Diversity certification is not only beneficial in validating the company’s operations in a women-operating capacity, but also helps to promote economic recovery and sustainability for several communities. And the buck doesn’t stop there!

Mosaic’s certification is even more advantageous to its clients. Contracting services through Mosaic supports the companies’ requirements for supplier diversity. For progressive companies, this also promotes their support in the growth of diverse and minority businesses, and demonstrates the organization’s commitment to doing business in diverse markets beyond consumerism. It also conveys a positive corporate image; sponsors innovation through the entrance of new products, services and solutions; drives competition between the company’s existing and potential vendors; and showcases the company’s interest in and dedication to the economic growth of all communities.
