Between 2018 and now, Mosaic has worked with some great companies continuing to develop their PSMS programs. We have grown with them in understanding the benefits, common challenges, and what are becoming commonly adopted best practices. As we reflected on the state of PSMS implementations, we felt the industry was approaching a significant milestone in maturity and believed taking a pulse reading would be helpful.
Just as we have started to familiarize ourselves with terms like “VR” (virtual reality) and “AR” (augmented reality)—and perhaps even begun the process of exploring and implementing these advanced technologies for training purposes—along comes a new abbreviation to figure out: “XR,” or extended reality.
