With more than 45 years in the energy and utility world, Neil Proudman has just about seen it all—from starting out as a gas apprentice at National Grid to leading major electric and gas operations as Vice President, and later serving as President of Liberty Utilities New Hampshire. Now Senior Vice President of Energy and Utilities at Mosaic, Neil draws on decades of field operations experience to help utilities strengthen safety, compliance, crisis response, and long-term resilience. A subject matter expert in gas engineering and operations, he’s also guided large-scale technology deployments like SAP and S/4HANA, earning a reputation for turning complex challenges into clear, workable strategies.

Outside the office, Neil leans into adventure. A lifelong snowboarder since the early ’90s (proudly “old school”), he’s just as comfortable carving through fresh powder as he is riding his motorcycle through the countryside. He’s also a champion for organ donation and Transplant Sports, recently supporting international games in Italy and gearing up for the next in Germany. Whether he’s volunteering at YMCA Camp Gorham in the Adirondacks or mentoring teams in the utility space, Neil brings the same mix of grit, expertise, and good humor to everything he does.
