Mosaic, a leading energy and utility workforce consulting firm, announced today they received two Brandon Hall Awards for Excellence in Technology in partnership with Duke Health Services and Pfizer.

• Best Advance in Education Delivered Through Technology: Leadership Program in Health and Well-Being – Bronze (Mosaic and Duke Health Services)

• Best Advance in Education Delivered Through Technology: Injury Prevention for Necropsy Technicians – Bronze (Mosaic and Pfizer)

Duke’s Health and Well-Being practice realized that health and well-being is a big part of a successful practice and business acumen is a must and not part of the traditional medical school curriculum, which only focuses on diagnosing and treating illness. With that knowledge in hand, Duke created a one-year program that teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully develop, launch, lead, sustain, and grow a health and well-being culture across all healthcare settings. Duke partnered with Mosaic to update and enhance the online program’s creativity, engagement, and interactivity based on subject-matter expert insights, current data and practices, and participant feedback.

Pfizer’s Drug Safety Research and Development team wanted to develop and implement strategies to reduce cuts/lacerations and exposure to bloodborne pathogens. An analysis determined that situational awareness and ergonomic-based training for new hires and colleagues with prolonged absences from these activities needed to be part of their risk management strategy. Mosaic partnered with Pfizer to create an e-learning safety training that leverages materials, photographs, and videos from the necropsy laboratory and includes scenario-based knowledge checks with formative feedback to ensure learner comprehension and engagement.
