The challenges faced by the upstream and midstream workforce cannot be understated. Daily, they are tasked to operate effectively in an environment where consistency is rare—to troubleshoot multi-generational equipment where no system has been designed the same. Further, they are often operating in remote locations, working on their own with limited or no documentation available.
To be successful, the pipeline worker must be a jack-of-all-trades—a master troubleshooter that draws from a broad range of knowledge and practical skills, capable of combining critical and creative thinking to solve problems and keep systems functioning correctly and safely.
Mosaic’s unique approach to training focuses on developing foundational knowledge that is broad rather than specialized. We train to develop critical thinking skills, to draw from a broad base of conceptual knowledge to troubleshoot and solve the problem at hand, and ultimately, to be prepared to deal with the range of unique challenges that they will face in the field, maintaining a diverse mix of legacy equipment and systems.
